The hankerchief colour code

Gay pin ups have always been part of our culture
way back to Victorian times. Here we present a
series of pin ups from our past. hardly a gym toned
body in sight unlike today when no pecs, no pics
seems to be the rule

In the fifties and early sixties , 'Muscle' Magzines were the only Gay Pin ups freely available. Muscles did rule the roost but it was only an excuse to depict the (almost) nude male body

Just two chaps enjoying a little wrestling....
...but notice how the lighting emphasises a hidden agenda
Posing pouches were all the rage...
...if sometimes a little overfilled
.
Going back even further, erotica was around and artistic studies of
North African youths were all the rage.

It occurs to the editor that many teen and twenty year olds who posed for Muscle magazines in the fifties and sixties
may very well still be around and have photographs of theirselves in their youth.
We would love to publish a few on this page to show today's young bunnies that beautiful male bodies are nothing new.
