Drag queens have an honoured place in gay history. Drag entertainers have long been accepted by straight audiences who have always enjoyed seeing men dressed as women however groteque. 
Rather suprising too that straight men will put on a frock at the slightest excuse, a fancy dress party, a vicars and tarts disco or in the privacy of their own closets, sorry bedrooms.
